The resonance of the outer room is transferred and displayed in the show case, where it is recorded in real time. A live discussion on the idea of art, tape recorded at the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf 40 years ago, is simultaneously displayed. Both sources are the transmitted to headphones.

Arena (2005)

Arena“, in action, when the light was on, outside people in front saw their self reflection in the mirror cylinder. At the same time people inside were invisible to the outside but could watch people outside in their self reflection and vice versa when every 30 sec the illumination changed to the inside. A constant alteration between subject and object took place.
